About

My first passion has and always will be writing. From my years in elementary school making my own little books to my days as a freelance tech writer, I always come back to writing.

My interests and skills range from poetry all the way to hard news and pretty much everything in between. As a teenager, I was an intern for the Indianapolis Recorder newspaper and also worked on print and video media at my high school.

My second second passion is technology and Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) in particular. I have been a user of Linux on servers and desktops since 1999 and continue to use and prefer Linux as on my "daily driver" devices. I strongly believe in making software and knowledge available to all people and eliminating the digital divide.
